Aim of the sub-project:
to support the most effective implementation of the research on sustainability, and resilience - the societal challenges of climate change, and adaptation to it, with a specific approach and research methods from the disciplines of military science and military engineering.
A particular focus will be on assessing and analyzing the impacts of war and armed conflict on the built and natural environment, and on providing generalizable lessons learned. His research methods include the analysis of national and international literature, interviews, and discussion of results in group discussions and conferences.
Results to date:
We have designed the content and form of a roll-up presentation that presents the main objectives of the project based on the creation story. It is currently being produced.
We have been participated in the international conference (22 November 2022), where Mihály Boda, József Padányi, Gábor Major also presented.
We discussed the researched questions in a group discussion with the students of the Security Policy College in Budapest, in the Zrínyi Hall of the Faculty of Military and Defence Studies, on 25 May 2023.
We participated in a group discussion in Lendava (Slovenia), where we presented and discussed the research results on 8 June 2023.
The sub-projects staff have published a number of publications in which their ideas have been put forward for public debate.
