Protecting natural capital as natural heritage subproject

"From public expenditure – a loss of wealth" subproject:

The subproject seeks to answer the question: can the negative impact of agricultural subsidies on the nation's common heritage be stopped? The aim of the research led by Dr. Judit Pump is to explore the links between public subsidies for agriculture and the continuing deterioration of the natural capital protected by the Fundamental Law, the common heritage of the nation, and, depending on the links explored, to propose actions to help stop and reverse the negative processes, while also identifying further research needs and directions, and, where possible, naming the range of necessary legal and non-legal instruments.
